Investors
Nowhere else is it truer that
Success = Skill + Intelligence + Knowledge + Experience
The trouble is, even the most talented and successful businessmen can’t instantly absorb the experience needed to succeed out of thin air – they need to gain it from somewhere. And the Business Angel marketplace can provide a very expensive learning curve!
It is our aim to help ‘fast track’ the experience of Business Angel investing in an inexpensive way, to end up with more money invested by more people more wisely - and more successfully.

Fund Seekers
An essential part of Equity Entrepreneur© is that Private Equity Investors and business entrepreneurs seeking finance work and learn together – that is why there are places on each Workshop for fundseekers.
Having a great business idea can be very exciting, with natural enthusiasm it’s very tempting to let prospective fantasy override foot-slogging reality.
But trying to get funding for a new or growing enterprise, whether through Private Equity Venture Capital or otherwise, often rapidly re-adjusts this balance!
No-one has ever found this aspect of entrepreneurial activity easy, but going to the experts at least increases the chances of success while reducing a lot of wasted effort.
If you want to know whether or not your project or business is likely to attract capital, there are five basic questions you need to ask yourself:
- From your track record, can you demonstrate an ability to turn someone else’s money into profit?
- Have you a clear idea of where you want to take the business, and when and how do you propose to exit?
- How do you justify the value you are placing on the business today?
- How much money do you really need, when and why?
- What sort of skills and expertise do you want in an investor and is there a role for him?
If you think you can provide good answers to these, would like to attend a Private Equity Investment training Workshop and have written at least a rudimentary business plan – there being no point in refining it before meeting with the experts – then please contact us.

Professionals
Being involved with Business Angel investment can be great fun and tremendously rewarding. But the deal size means it is often below the ‘profits radar’ of many firms and unfamiliarity usually leads to frustration and spiraling costs – it’s a vicious circle.
By attending Equity Entrepreneur© Workshops, professionals can get an inside track on how to make money advising deals of this size, which will inevitably lead to much more profitable work.
